Graduate Mine Geologist

An exciting opportunity exists for a Graduate Mine Geologist to join Genesis Minerals as part of our Graduate Program - designed to build capability, accelerate your development, and set you up for long-term success in the mining industry.

What You’ll Do:

• Monitor ore excavation to maximise recovery and minimise dilution
• Provide accurate records of ore mining activities
• Conduct ore mark-ups and prepare zones for mining
• Coordinate and support grade control activities
• Supervise grade control drilling programs
• Carry out grade control sampling
• Assist mine geologists and the production team with general duties as required

About You
We’re looking for motivated graduates who are ready to learn, contribute, and grow:

• Driver’s license (C Class, manual car) – essential
• A tertiary qualification in Geology
• Strong communication skills, including communicating with people from different backgrounds and cultures.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines on multiple tasks.
• High level of enthusiasm for the work with high performance goals
